Only gave burgers and the draft beer was empty

We need more such inns! Lovable landlords with friendly staff and a local kitchen. The landlord takes care of giving something back to the Münchberg community with his inn or other cultural events all year round.

We ate here and were very pleased. There was schnitzel with pumpkin seed breading. Delicious

Unique !!! Consistently clear map. That doesn't mean bad, but freshly prepared! Very friendly service, very courteous. But the Kneiper is only class👍. Despite the house being full, he takes time for a short informative conversation. So folks: down the A9 at Münchberg, at the roundabout take the first one, then you hit it directly with your nose. Delicious food and a light, light house beer😍 And this farewell gift👍: After several evenings, spread over several weeks, then that👍👍👍 see photo. Thank you, we felt very comfortable here. But our assembly time in the Münchberg area is unfortunately over ... 👏🍻

Cozy, good and unexpectedly creative food. Something for everyone.

Absolutely unacceptable ..... After 45 minutes 2 out of 4 ordered dishes were served, a salad came after 60 minutes and a meal was even completely forgotten. Even though only a few tables were occupied. Never again and not recommended!

The restaurant looks better from the outside than from the inside. When we came in and got our seats assigned, the host initially disappeared. He seemed to think it was more important discussing any topic with another guest than bringing us the menu and asking what we want to drink. After we asked him for the card, he came to our table and took the drinks. The map was very clear. We then opted for a steak with fried potatoes, egg, bacon and onion. The food came quickly and was visually very appealing. But unfortunately the sight did not deliver what it promised. The food was bland and almost drowned in fat. The fried potatoes were also not crispy, which was due to the fat. The steak itself was quite flexible, greasy and tasteless. The quality of the food unfortunately did not match the price. A pity

The regional beer is good and stands out here in particular. Unfortunately, the inn has waned considerably compared to the last 2-3 years. In the beginning there was classic schnitzel and cordon bleus, but unfortunately a lot of it is Italian in the meantime and so alienated that I no longer like it. There are good examples of restaurants with a mix of regional and Mediterranean cuisine, but unfortunately the Bayerischer Hof is not one of them. The quality and the once loving preparation have declined sharply: Cordon Bleu burned on the outside and raw on the inside, asparagus soup with watermelon, sour (presumably old) schnitzel or just the ice-cold burger rolls. In every burger shop you can help yourself to different sauces, here a bag costs 50 ct. That doesn't make me poor, but service is different. Criticism was often given in a friendly manner and unfortunately always smiled away or it was argued that the other guests would taste exactly the same. The spelling of the menus and articles also bother me personally, since they are not authentically and often questionably formulated. It is cold in the toilets and there are mold spots in the corners. The light is often turned off, even though guests are still sitting in the bar - the polite kick-out at 9:30 p.m. (!) Of course it arrives and you go. Münchberg wants to establish itself as "kulcity". If the Bayerischer Hof wants to get involved, there is definitely still a need for action, because in my opinion it has nothing to offer in culinary terms. However, the location is recommended for cards and a good after-work beer. Addendum: Just because it is a zero account does not mean that I am not honest. For me it only confirms that described above. If negative feedback comes, it is ignored and laughed at or it is claimed that you are not telling the truth and that this is not a "correct" assessment. I go there regularly for dinner. And what can I say ..... The food is absolutely delicious. You can tell that the cook (owner at the same time) does his job with heart and passion. The atmosphere in the inn is familiar, cozy and warm. The waitresses are super nice. I love to go out to eat ...

Always good beer, delicious food and above all a unique host! A crazy guy with new ideas and visions, with whom you can philosophize about life! A really nice place to stay! :-)

Quaint pub with a great beer selection. There is still chatting and, as is the case for a real warehouse, the beer is painted on the felt. There are always cool things for hunger. Now and then live music. This is how a pub feels good.

Very tasty food, nice service, pleasant place

An adventurous local inn, the menu has something for everyone. Every Thursday there are burgers to be filled, you get a note to fill out and create your own burger. I think this idea is unfortunately neither the burger bun nor the plate at room temperature, I think preheating a bit is not too much to ask now. This then messes up the really tasty burger. The landlord also advertises with "Support your local Wärtshaus" whereby not even meat from the local butcher is used. Some waitresses (also the landlord) seem very stressed with 3/4 full locally. I also learned from several sources that the restaurant sometimes throws guests out when the waitress is on a date. If you have any specific questions, I am of course there as a local guide because I often visit this restaurant.

The dish unfortunately a bit bland. Sure, the tastes are different, but that was very lovelessly seasoned. Incidentally, the restaurant is apparently a bit left or biased towards German guests who are not set to "maximum color". Both together - I no longer have to have one.

The "Bavarian" is an institution in Münchberg with a long tradition. The special feature is the mixed crowd, the large, redesigned and cozy rooms and the large, for Münchberger conditions perhaps too large drinks. There is a lot of effort here and the Bayerischer Hof is a great addition to the Münchberg pub landscape.

Very nice service, cozy atmosphere. You can try a lot of local beers here. Small but fine menu. A star deduction, as both our food unfortunately too much peppered .... Pity.
